Lush Brings Back The Beats of The 80’s

Cover band Lush promises to have show-goers up and dancing with fantastic high energy beats at this year’s Waroona Show.

The Perth-based five-piece pop-rock funk band is well-known for delivering classic rock anthems- such as It’s a Long way to the Top by ACDC – for South West audiences at regular gigs at the Burlington Hotel in Bunbury.
Lead vocalist Samantha Legge said that she drew on her previous experience in the band Slim Jim and the Fatts band.

The musical knowledge the other band members bring to the fold further adds to the sonic landscape of Lush. “I think the friendship we have in the band is really special and I think that really comes across in our music” Legge said. We have never been a part of the Waroona Show so we are very excited. Lush covers music from all genres but according to Legge, the band has a soft spot for the 1980’s tunes. We sit down together and work out what will work best for each audience, depending on the gig – whether it is weddings, corporate gigs parties, shows – we do it all Legge said.
Lush will be on the main stage from 5.30pm- 8.30pm right before the fireworks display!
